DIY Bat Wreath – Halloween Front Porch
DIY bat wreath and Halloween front porch inspiration! Bats, Ghosts, Skeletons, all the pumpkins and mums! This bat wreath is a look alike to the Pottery Barn one and let me show you how!
DIY BAT WREATH
( Pottery Barn Lit Handcrafted Bat Wreath Look Alike )
Supplies :
1. Wreath of your choice – I used an old one I had and took off flowers.
2. Black Spray Paint
3. Glitter Spray Paint
4. Lights
5. Bats – You can DIY as I did or buy some! ( I used Cricut Joy Extra)
6. Hot Glue or String to attach bats

HOW TO MAKE THE BAT WREATH :
Here is the wreath and where it started. I took out all the flowers and it was actually easy! Once that is done its time to spray paint!
Here is the spray paint I used, I had it on hand and really it didn’t need to much. Let it dry then its for the fun next!
If you have not used glitter spray paint it is so fun! I love the sparkle and shine it leaves. They do have a sealer you can use on top of it.
I had these lights on hand, but you can find them inexpensively at the dollar store or online. Just make sure to get the black string.
I used my Cricut Joy Extra to cut out these bats. I did on cardstock first, then a vinyl on top just for the look I wanted along with some extra protection. The design space already had the bats ready and easy to use.
Once all cut, I attached to the wreath using a glue gun.

Now that the wreath is done it’s the fun time to decorate!
These ghosts have been so fun! They are ceramic and light up – but we have had them the last few years and hold up great!
I made some extra bats with my Cricut Joy Extra and I don’t know why I haven’t done it sooner for holidays! So easy and so cute!
We love this 8ft skeleton it is perfect for our front porch!
