Time to Camp { Camp Ann – JOANN } Backyard style
This isn’t our typical “camping” but its sure fun for us to get creative! When we heard JOANN was coming out with a new Camp Ann line we knew we had to head on over! We found so many amazing finds and did a some fun DIYS that we know your kids would love! If you aren’t into “camping” this line is perfect for patriotic decor and they have lots of fun lake items too!
We had so much fun putting together the DIYS, and I want to share them on the JOANN App with you! If you are looking for easy you got it! The bunting banner I did sew, but you could easily do without! The tic tac toe was not only fun for the kids to make, but to play!
Once Memorial Day is here, I love to leave out patriotic decor till labor day! This line is so fitting for what I love, and its so awesome that so much of it, is meant to be outside! The solar lights are a hit with the kids – I can see the kids sneaking away most of the items for when we use our camper!
They have so many different flags at JOANN, and this is the perfect size for their playhouse!
The star doormat I loved so much for my front door we got a second for here!
This little table is so useful, the kids thought it would be fun to add to their playhouse for all their parties.
I think JOANN is my favorite place for paper napkins and plates, every holiday I find the best ones there!
I love this little corner of our yard for the kids to escape to and to use their imaginations. Time goes to quickly and pretty soon they will outgrow most of these things, so while we can we are enjoying every moment of it. This corner pretty much stays like this when in use, they just need to bring their tent out and I am sure soon their table.
I have to say this simple game inspired from my friend Megan while camping has been the biggest hit! We went camping last year and Megan made tic tac toe out of rocks. We were at JOANN and thought this wood slice would be just perfect, add some rocks and chalk pen and we have ourselves and easy DIY and a fun game to play!
This hopefully will be a DIY on all your to do lists, I know I need to make another because all the kids want to play! Dont forget to see the JOANN APP for the DIY.

This idea of the design of the backyard seems very interesting. The cozy and unusual design will certainly delight your children. Now they can spend more time here.
