My Favorite Highlights of The Inspired Home Show

  1. Innovative Products: One of the main attractions of the show is the introduction of cutting-edge products. Exhibitors often unveil their latest innovations, providing attendees with a first look at what will soon be available in stores. Whether it’s a smart kitchen appliance or eco-friendly home decor, there’s always something that captures the imagination. You will even see things that aren’t even out yet and might never be. Companies use this time to see if people are interested in it.
  1. Educational Seminars: The Inspired Home Show also features a series of seminars led by industry experts. These sessions cover a wide array of topics, including design trends, marketing strategies, and sustainability in home products. Attendees leave these seminars not just inspired, but equipped with knowledge to enhance their own businesses or personal projects. I loved being able to hear from Pantone. Seeing the color of the year, also going into detail on how it was chosen – so amazing!
  1. Networking Opportunities: For professionals in the home goods industry, the show offers invaluable networking opportunities. Manufacturers can connect with retailers and media outlets. These interactions often lead to fruitful partnerships and innovative projects that can reshape the market.

This hands-on experience can be particularly useful for retailers looking to make informed purchasing decisions. This was so fun, and honestly I found so many products I can’t wait to buy!

The Inspired Home Show has the gia Awards, and it was an honor to be able to go. The IHA Global Innovation Award (gia) for Product Design honors exhibitors’ latest creations and cutting-edge innovations with award recognition, distinguishing five finalists in 14 categories. These are the winners and it was so incredible to see not only items but the amazing shops you can find products around the world.
