DIY CON Dallas 2026: Everything You Need to Know
DIY CON Dallas 2026: Everything You Need to Know About the First-Ever DIY CON
If you’ve been following along with us for any amount of time, you know there is ALWAYS a project happening around here! From room makeovers and outdoor projects to completely changing our minds and redoing spaces we’ve already finished, DIY has been such a huge part of creating a home and life we love.
So when I heard about the first-ever DIY CON, I knew this was an event I wanted to check out—and I’m so excited that we will be heading to Dallas, Texas for it this November!
If you love DIY, home improvement, decorating, woodworking, crafting, or simply finding inspiration for your next project, here is everything you need to know about DIY CON Dallas 2026.
What Is DIY CON?
DIY CON is a three-day event bringing together DIYers, makers, home improvement enthusiasts, creators, experts and brands all in one place.
Instead of just watching your favorite DIY creators online, DIY CON gives you a chance to experience DIY in person through hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, panels, products, shopping and so much more.
And this year is extra exciting because 2026 is the very first DIY CON!
When and Where Is DIY CON Dallas 2026?
DIY CON takes place November 6–8, 2026 at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas.
Fair Park Dallas
1001 Washington St
Dallas, TX 75210
The event is open from 10 AM–6 PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving you an entire weekend to explore.
Fair Park is also conveniently located just minutes east of Downtown Dallas, so if you’re traveling for the event, you can easily make an entire Dallas weekend out of it.
What Can You Do at DIY CON?
This is probably what I’m most excited about!
DIY CON isn’t just a place to walk around and look at booths. The event is designed to be interactive, with opportunities to actually learn, try products and get hands-on.
Throughout the weekend you’ll find hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, main stage panels, interactive brand experiences, shopping and family-friendly activities.
There will also be dedicated areas covering all the things!
Basically, if you have a project on your list, there’s a good chance you’ll find some inspiration for it here. And considering how long OUR project list is, I have a feeling we’re going to come home with even more ideas!
Meet Some of Your Favorite DIY Stars and Creators
Another really fun part of DIY CON Dallas 2026 is the lineup of creators and home improvement personalities appearing throughout the weekend.
You’ll have the chance to see names including Drew and Jonathan Scott from Property Brothers, DadSocialMr. Kate, Chelsea and Cole DeBoer, Ty Pennington, Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt, and more.
There will be different appearances, panels and experiences happening throughout the three-day event, so I definitely recommend checking the schedule when you’re deciding which day or days you want to attend.
Can You Shop at DIY CON?
YES!
This might be dangerous for me! DIY CON will have brands and vendors throughout the event where you can discover new tools, materials and products for your home and projects.
Even better, there will be products available to purchase at the event, including special offers and event deals.
I love being able to actually see products in person, ask questions and figure out how we could use something before starting a project, so I’m really looking forward to walking through all of the different booths.
Are There DIY Workshops?
Yes! DIY CON will have workshops throughout the weekend covering projects and skills for different experience levels.
Workshops are included with your ticket. Some hands-on workshop participation requires an RSVP and has limited availability, while spectators can watch based on available capacity. I think this is such a fun opportunity, especially if there is something you’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t felt confident enough to try on your own.
Is DIY CON Family Friendly?
It is! DIY CON has a Kids Zone with hands-on projects and creative activities for younger makers, along with other family-friendly experiences throughout the weekend.
So this doesn’t have to be just a girls’ trip or DIY weekend—it can be something the whole family experiences together.
Who Should Go to DIY CON?
You definitely don’t have to be a professional DIYer.
If you’ve ever saved a project to Pinterest, watched a home makeover and thought I could do that, started renovating your home, picked up a power tool, painted a room, built something yourself or simply love decorating and finding new ideas for your home, I think you’ll find something here.
For me, DIY has always been about so much more than the finished project. I love being able to look around our home and see the spaces we’ve created together over the years. Some projects have turned out exactly as planned, some definitely haven’t, and some we’ve even torn out and started all over again.
But that’s part of making a home your own. And that’s exactly why I’m so excited to experience the very first DIY CON.
