Pond Dreams

When I was looking at houses, my goal was to be on the water. Little did I know that my family did not have the same dreams as me. Well, a house popped up not to far from our house now, because it had a pool. Honestly I fell in love with it but it wasn’t meant to be. The thing is it brought us back to this area we once dreamed of.
So we looked, and the funny thing is the house we bought wasn’t one we ever imagined or really wanted to even see but we kept seeing it pop up. After we went on a 3 month trip, the house was still there. The day we got back, we scheduled a visit and I fell in love – I knew it was the one. James was a little more hesitant because it was more than we ever planned on spending but he also knew it was it. We didnt show our kids yet, but couldnt wait.
We showed the kids the house, and they couldn’t believe it. The only thing on the listing it showed it had a pond, well the pond was a cute little one up at the front of the house perfect for some koi. We told Ollie our little fisher that one day we can add one.
Fast forward to right before we were about to sign, we had some things we were going to buy and went to meet with the original owners. They told us all about the property and said as the kids were running around the propert that in those trees was a pond! WHAT – all our dreams came true!
While it didn’t look like much, and still not quite… we have BIG dreams and they are just beginning!

I do have to say, it was quite the process and multiple times we have done transformations over the last few years. I will share the full details soon, because really we have just begun and I can’t wait to share all of our plans.

Pond Dye , we have used blue but I think I am going to try black!

Natural Blast – This is easy and throw in too! Its meant to help stagnant water with odor or floating organic matter. Our pond is spring fed and has trees and other things that get in it so we like to treat with this to just help keep clean. It is a great boost!
