Its week 3 of the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge, and I am so excited to share with you our tile selections! I had so many of you message and let me know what your favorites were! I am not quite sure how this will go since its all new to us but we are excited!
Its week 2 of the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge, and we are getting ready to get this project started! If you missed my first post you can read all about it on WEEK 1. I shared that we will be redoing this fireplace, and that it was my first DIY project by filling in a ton of seashells and painting it. Later we built a bigger mantle but its just not right… I have moved the decor so many times and nothing ever makes it better and my goal is to LOVE my home. I am so excited to be able to partner with Jeffrey Court, and participate in their Renovation Challenge. We have some big goals for our future and with that we are finishing up projects for at least the next year. I thought it would be fitting to end our projects with the first DIY I ever did on our home the Fireplace.
My goal for our home is to be cozy, I want each room to be welcoming. We have changed this room quite a bit over the last year, but something wasn’t quite right. This room used to be a garage, after it was transformed the room is always a lot cooler and sometimes not a place where you want to sit and enjoy ( unless you have a million blankets on). I found the perfect solution an Electric Fireplace, this amazing one is from Bed Bath & Beyond and all I can think is why didn’t we do this sooner! I love this fireplace because it has the real flame look, it puts off great heat and its gorgeous!
