An apron is a must, and this chef grilling apron is amazing! I love that it now has the permanent smell of campfire outdoor cooking.

Outdoor Cooking Campfire Recipe: Simple & Savory Shish Kabobs
One of our favorite go-to meals on the Cowboy Grill. Shish kabobs, endlessly customizable, easy to prep ahead, and a total crowd-pleaser around the fire.
What You’ll Need:
1 lb chicken breast or sirloin, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
Bell peppers (red, yellow, green), cut into chunks
Red onion, quartered
Pineapples, cut into chunks
Mushrooms
Other options : Zucchini, Cherry tomatoes, shrimp, sausage,
Olive oil
Salt, pepper, we like to use Kinders seasonigs
Wooden skewers (soaked in water) or metal skewers
How to Cook:
Toss meat and veggies in olive oil and season generously.
Skewer everything in alternating patterns for color and flavor variety.
Grill over medium-high flame on the Barebones Cowboy Grill, rotating every 2–3 minutes until meat is cooked and veggies are lightly charred.
Serve straight off the skewer or over rice for a full meal. * Remember if metal its hot
Pro tip: The adjustable height of the Cowboy Grill makes it easy to control heat, so nothing gets scorched, and everything stays juicy.

I have to tell you a secret, I have only boiled corn my whole life – but putting it on the grill OMG the most amazing thing ever, there is no going back! Outdoor cooking is our new favorite and I can’t wait for all the things to try.

Campfire Cooking, Made Simple
There’s something undeniably special about cooking over an open flame. Maybe it’s the smoky flavor, or maybe it’s just the magic of slowing down and doing things the old-school way. The Barebones Cowboy Grill captures that feeling perfectly — no fuss, no tech, just you, your ingredients, and the fire.

What I love most is how approachable it is. You don’t need to be a grill master to make incredible meals with it. With adjustable grates, steady heat control, and enough space to cook for a crowd, it takes all the stress out of outdoor grilling. It’s the kind of tool that invites creativity and connection — a reason to linger outside just a little longer.

Not Just for Summer Nights
While summer may be peak grilling season, I already have plans to use this grill deep into fall and winter. There’s something magical about cooking outdoors with a chill in the air and a fire keeping you warm. Think grilled apples and cinnamon in October or a winter chili night in December.
This grill invites you to make outdoor cooking a year-round tradition, one that doesn’t end when the weather cools. Because great meals aren’t just about what’s on the plate, they’re about the atmosphere, people, and the moments in between.
